As the
M.O.S.T
program of Hamilton Direct grows nationwide, new features have been added to increase its effectiveness. These new tools consist of M-mailer, V-mailer,
W-mailer, and Teletransfer, serve to enhance the ability to efficiently capture and reconnect customers.
The M-mailer is one of the most powerful tools offered in the
M.O.S.T
program. It allows the operator a communication
device to the customers offering extended services such as telephony, high-speed data enhancements, and new digital tiering. This improves the revenue generating opportunities for the operator. The V-mailer is a time-based turnkey marketing piece that is sent automatically to a non-subscriber home. With
Teletransfer, M.O.S.T
reaches the customer at their old address before they move to their new address and at the same time thanks them for being a valued customer. Additionally Teletransfer, as a courtesy, transfers their cable service to their new operator before they move. This allows the cable operator to capture additional subscriber revenues sooner than in the past and it keeps them from going to the competition.
With the addition of Time Warner/Minneapolis, Charter/Northwest Division including Washington, Oregon and West Sacramento, and Comcast/Ontario, the
M.O.S.T
program has expanded its reach to over ten million homes nationwide.
The
M.O.S.T
program has become very successful for us. So much
so, that we are able to gain a certain amount of
new subscribers every month that we dont have
to budget for,
says John Trierweiler, Vice President of Marketing
at Time Warner/West Valley, CA.
With competition you
either get aggressive and go after these moving
customers or risk losing market share. With
M.O.S.T
we have a proven track record of generating new
customers for the cable operator that turns into
increased penetration and substantial revenue
gains going straight to the bottom line. Getting
RGUs prior to the move provides a significant
increase in cash flow.
